So, hands up ...... who is still reeling from what must surely have been one of the best Rhumba Birthdays of all time. Did 2manydj’s not simply play the set of a lifetime. From the minute they dropped “Hey Boy .....” until the mighty finale, it was a master class in floor rockin’, roof raising excellence. Let’s give them a mighty high five in congratulations .......

But, the quandary we have ... how do we follow that night? Who could possible have the stature, skill and experience to put together a musical journey worthy of following the Birthday madness ........ well, the answer in my mind was not difficult, but the chances of actually making it happen were going to be a whole other issue altogether, but......

....... for our next party, and hopefully to equal the excellence of the Birthday, we are very excited to announce the return of an old Rhumba hero, and without doubt, one of the top 5 DJ’s in the World at the moment ..... John Digweed.

Obviously needing no introduction, I can still (fuzzily) remember John’s first ever Rhumba appearance, way back in the summer of ’94. Such a young fresh faced chap he was too, had only started shaving, as I remember. Along with a certain Mr Seaman, John became a main stay at the Rhumba until his last trip along the banks of the River Tay, a whole 8 years ago.

As is his way, John has requested to play as long as possible on this night, and agreed to play a 3 hour set ... so get there early and enjoy!
